Centennial Park Flying Site
The Balsa Beavers Model Flying Club enjoys the use of the only specifically constructed Control Line flying site in the Metropolitan Toronto area. This dedicated flying site is nestled in Toronto's Centennial Park, and consists of one paved circle with a grass infield ring and two grass circles with paved centres. There are family Picnic areas nearby, Soccer fields, Baseball
diamonds, a Go-Kart track, a Greenhouse and much more. There is also ample parking and both portable and running water Bathroom facilities. Fast food and Coffee shops are within minutes of the field. If a day at the park with the family is what you are seeking, you can combine your flying with the numerous other activities supported within the park.
Getting there
Coming from out of town? Take the 401 to Renforth Drive, head south, right (west) at Eglinton, drive to the 3d set of lights, left at Centennial Park Blvd. (at the Golf Course). The field is about 1/3 mile south of Eglinton. Turn left at the Mini Indy sign and you are there.
